Hair care becomes a difficult and time-consuming job in the monsoon season. But it is also important for healthy hair to stay away from chemicals and outside treatments as much as possible. Some simple home remedies can be very effective to take care of your hair during the monsoon season.

Honey and milk will provide dry, damaged hair with lots of hydration. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey to half a cup of milk and mix well. Apply the mixture on your hair and scalp. Allow it to sit for 30-40 minutes and then wash off to get smooth and nourished hair.
Papaya is known as a wonder fruit. Not only it has immense health. Add a cup of papaya to half a cup of yoghurt and make a smooth paste. Apply it to your hair from root to tip and allow it to sit for 50 minutes. Wash off your hair and repeat the procedure once a week to prevent split ends and frizzy hair.
Apply lemon to your scalp 10 minutes before washing your hair to get rid of dandruff. You can also squeeze half a lemon into a mug of water and pour it over your head after shampooing your hair. Wash your hair with plain water after 5 minutes and say hello to soft and lustrous hair!

Banana is great for strengthening and thickening fine hair. Bananas nourish the scalp and hair follicles, help maintain natural hair elasticity, and prevent breakage and split ends. The protein content in yogurt provides ample nourishment and strength to the hair. Add a banana and two tablespoons of honey to half a cup of yoghurt and make a smooth paste. Apply it to your hair and scalp and let it sit for an hour. Wash it off. This is an incredible home remedy for treating dandruff and frizzy hair. |
